Base interest rate is the interest rate for preserving the value of financial receivables and payables in domestic currency. The monthly base interest rate for a certain month is calculated to one decimal place as the arithmetic average of the last twelve rates of growth of consumer prices.
The yearly base interest rate for certain month is calculated from the monthly base interest rate to two decimal places in a similar way taking into account the actual number of days.
