The results of SILC are based on a survey conducted in the beginning of the year and on register and administrative data mostly referring to one year before survey is conducted.

NUMBER OF DWELLING RENOVATIONS IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS

The following measures to improve the building energy efficiency are taken into account: improved insulation of external or internal walls, improved roof insulation, improved floor insulation, replacement of single-glazed windows with double- or triple-glazed ones, and replacement of heating systems with better or more efficient ones.
Some totals do not add up due to rounding.
