MEASURES: UNTREATED waste water is a waste water discharged into ambient media [into ground water, watercourses, accumulations, lakes, sea] without treatment.
TREATED waste water is waste water discharged from treatment plant [=effluent]. Treatment plants are UWWTP, IWWT or independent treatment plants.
