COHESION AND STATISTICAL REGION

Gorenjska

Data for landfilled municipal waste per capita for the Gorenjska statistical region have been corrected compared to the release of 26 September 2023. The previously published value was 80.9 kg. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Smaller amounts of landfilled waste are the result of temporary storage due to unfinished treatment of mixed municipal waste before disposal.

From 2023 onward, waste (classification number 20 03 04 – Septic tank sludge) no longer includes sludge from municipal sewage treatment plants that are not treated to the extent that they are suitable for fertilizer in agriculture or for submission to the processing or waste disposal process.
