ECONOMIC INDICATOR
The results are shown as the balance by individual questions. The balance is the difference between the share of positive and negative answers.
In January 2006 we changed the wording of 'evolution of sales' to 'sales' and 'expected demand' to 'expected sales'.
In January 2009 we stopped monitoring the following indicators: financial situation, competition and level of sales.

Confidence indicator
Confidence indicator in retail trade is an average of balances to questions on sales, expected sales, and the present volume of stock (the latter with inverted sign).

Assessment of the present business situation over the past 3 months: good, satisfactory (normal for the season), bad?

Assessment of the volume of stocks: too small, adequate (normal for the season), too large?
