HOUSEHOLD INCOME - QUINTILE
The persons are divided into five quintiles according to the net disposable income per equivalent household member. The first quintile includes 20% of persons from the households with the lowest equivalised income, the fifth quintile includes 20% of persons from the households with the highest equivalised income.
YEAR
The results of SILC are based on a survey conducted in the beginning of the year and on register and administrative data mostly referring to one year before survey is conducted.
GOODS
The data refer to persons aged 16 and over.
MEASURES
Some totals do not add up due to rounding.

Replace worn-out clothes by some new (not second hand) ones.
Two pairs of shoes
Have two pairs of properly fitting shoes (including a pair of all-weather shoes, in a good condition).
Getting together for a drink, lunch/dinner at least once a month
Get together with friends/family (relatives) for a drink/meal at least once a month.
Participating in leisure activities that have to be paid for
Regularly participate in a leisure activity that costs money such as sport, cinema, concert, theatre, etc.

Spend a small amount of money most weeks on his/herself for his/her own pleasure (buying/doing something).
Internet connection for personal use at home
Internet access from home and using the Internet for personal use, for example for sending/receiving e-mails, social networks, purchases via the Internet, etc.
