AGE: Age is the period of time a person has lived from his/her birth to the moment of observation. It is expressed in completed years of age.

2011H1: Data on population as of 1 January 2011 in Slovenia are produced also according to the Regulation (EC) No. 763/2008 of the European Parliament and the Council of 9 July 2008 on Population and Housing Censuses, Official Journal of the European Union L 218/14, 13 August, 2008.
2021H1: Data on population as of 1 January 2021 in Slovenia are produced also according to the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 2017/712 of 20 April 2017 establishing the reference year and the programme of the statistical data and metadata for population and housing censuses provided for by Regulation (EC) No 763/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
MEASURES
Population: Population are:
1. persons who have lived in Slovenia for a year or more;
2. persons who intend to live in Slovenia for a year or more;
3. persons who are temporarily absent or intend to be absent from Slovenia
on the day of observation, but only if the length of their actual or intended
absence is less than a year.
Citizens of the Republic of Slovenia: Citizens of the Republic of Slovenia, residents of Slovenia, are persons with
Slovenian citizenship, counted as population of Slovenia.
Foreign citizens: Foreigners, residents of Slovenia, are persons with foreign citizenship,
counted as population of Slovenia.
