Tertiary educational attainment (%)

The indicator is defined as the percentage of the population aged 30–34 who have successfully completed tertiary studies (e.g. university, higher technical institution, etc.).

Employment rate of recent graduates (%)

The indicator presents the employment rate of persons aged 20 to 34 fulfilling the following conditions:
- being employed according to the ILO definition,
- having attained at least upper secondary education (ISCED 3) as the highest level of education,
- not having received any education or training in the four weeks preceding the survey,
- having successfully completed their highest educational attainment 1, 2 or 3 years before the survey.

Adult participation in learning (%)

The indicator (previously named “lifelong learning”) refers to persons aged 25 to 64 who stated that they received education or training in the four weeks preceding the survey.
