Notes

YEAR

The distribution of waste quantities between the recycling and backfilling processes has been changed for 2022 due to the upgraded reports. Backfilling also includes all amounts of waste that have been processed into materials and usable for backfilling. In previous years, these were counted among recycling.

MEASURE

Non hazardous and hazardosu waste generated - TOTAL (tonnes)

The amount of all waste generated increased in 2018 due to increased quantities of construction and demolition waste generated in all activities and in all statistical regions.

Other waste recovery (tonnes)

Until 2016, data may include also quantities from pre-treatment operations.
