Notes

Trips are considered as urban when both the origin and the destination of the trip are inside the same functional urban area. Such an area consists of a city and its commuting zone, i.e. in Slovenia the Osrednjeslovenska and Podravska statistical regions. In 2021, only the residents of the above-mentioned regions were counted, while in 2017, this constraint was not relevant.
In calculating the average, also the residents (aged 15–84) who did not go on any trip on a selected day are considered.
