Notes

From 2023 on, data on kilometres travelled in interurban public scheduled transport are obtained from the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy.
Due to the coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19), public passenger transport was stopped on 16 March 2020 with the Ordinance on the Temporary Prohibition and Restrictions on Public Passenger Transport in the Republic of Slovenia. It was re-established in Slovenia on 11 May 2020 in an adapted form.
Data on kilometres travelled for 2010 and 2011 are estimations calculated in line with the revised methodology (see Methodological explanations).
Source for estimations on the number of bus routes for 2010 and 2011 is data of ministry responsible for transport.
