Notes

Data are seasonally adjusted. Data for the last 6 months are provisional. With each release the data for this period can be corrected and supplemented with new data. Since the publication of data for January 2024, the base year for the index Month / average of the year has been changed from 2015 to 2021. Data converted to the base year 2021 are available from January 2000 on. Data with the base year 2015 are published in table 1957406S.

DATA ADJUSTMENT

The seasonally adjusted data (SA) are the values from which the seasonality and the calendar effects have been removed, therefore the SA values include the trend-cycle component and the irregular component. Working day adjusted (WDA) data are values which are corrected for the calendar effects. In the trend-cycle component the most recent data are unreliable (the end-point problem). Trend data of construction put in place include only the trend and indicate the main direction of the evolution of time series.
