- Methodological explanations
AT-RISK-OF-POVERTY RATE is the percentage of persons living in households where the equivalised total disposable household income is below the threshold. The basic at-risk-of-poverty rate is calculated for the 60% cut-off [at-risk-of-poverty threshold defined as 60 % of the median equivalised disposable income]. In the indicator “DISPERSION AROUND THE AT-RISK-OF-POVERTY THRESHOLD” the at-risk-of-poverty rates for 40%, 50% and 70% cut-offs are also shown.
