Mortality due to homicide, assault (rate per 100,000 population)

The mortality rate due to assault describes the mortality due to assault per 100,000 population in the observed calendar year. An age-standardized rate is calculated, which allows a comparison of populations with different age structures of the population.

The indicator shows the share of households that reported occurrence of crime, violence or vandalism in their area.

General government total expenditure on law courts (% GDP)

The indicator shows the general government expenditure (ESA 2010) for the courts and other judicial authorities.

Corruption Perception Index (score scale)

The indicator indicates the perceived level of public sector corruption on a scale of 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).
