INDICATOR
Share of households that can't afford to keep home adequately warm (%)
The indicator shows the percentage of households that can't afford to keep their home adequately warm.
Share of renewable energy in gross final energy consumption (%)
Gross final energy consumption from renewable sources is calculated as the sum of gross final electricity consumption from renewable sources, gross final energy consumption from renewable sources for heating and cooling, and final energy consumption from renewable sources in transport.
Data on the share of energy from renewable sources in gross final energy consumption from the reference year 2021 on are calculated based on the Directive (EU) 2018/2001 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources (RED II Directive), which replaced Directive 2009/28/EC on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources. Therefore, data from 2021 on are not directly comparable with data up to 2020.
Data for 2022 are provisional (Slovenia will carry out the statistical transfer of energy from renewable sources).
Primary energy supply (1,000 toe)
Total primary energy supply is the quantity of energy consumed within the borders of a country.
Final energy consumption (1,000 toe)
Final energy consumption is the energy consumed by end-users (households, industry, etc.).
Final energy consumption in households per capita (kWh/capita)
The indicator measures total energy consumption in households as end users.
Energy dependency (%)
Energy dependency is the ratio of net imports (import – export) and total primary energy supply.
Energy productivity (mio EUR 2010/ktoe)
Energy productivity indicator represents the ratio between gross domestic product and energy supply and shows how much economic output (economic productivity) a certain amount of energy allows.
