Age-specific divorce rates

Age-specific divorce rate is the ratio between the number of divorces in a certain age of men and women and the number of population of the same age in the calendar year, multiplied by 1000.

DIVORCES

Divorce is a marriage which ceased to exist because it was terminated by the final judgement of a court.

AGE GROUPS

Age is the period of time a person has lived from his/her birth to the divorce. Data on age are calculated from the date of birth and the date of divorce.

AGE GROUPS

Age-specific divorce rate is the ratio between the number of divorced husbands and wives aged x years and the number of men and women of the same age in the calendar year multiplied by 1000.
